Here are the cabinets in that room again.
I see old furniture as a canvas for painting. I also enjoy painting trompe l'oeil (A style of painting that gives an illusion of photographic reality). None of the paintings on this site are available for purchase. 2020 update: Not much of this exists anymore. Fun while it lasted. Like me, it turned invisible and unappreciated with age.

"The Cabin" Room in our Lodge
This was a very dark room with dark paneling. A lot of people are afraid to paint paneling, but not me. I lightened the room with an off white background, then painted and stained the lower half and added a boarder to the chair rail area. In the corner is a funny square foot "pole" that sticks out, so I turned it into a tree with racoons in it.
